Craft Fair

Over 25 people sold soaps, ceramics, candles, handmade quilts and more at UCOP's annual Holiday Craft Fair. This year's fair was held on Thursday, Dec. 10.


2009 Holiday Closure Information

UCOP will be closed beginning Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 through Friday, Jan. 1, 2009. The office will reopen Monday, Jan. 4. During this break, there are four working days scheduled as UCOP furlough days: Dec. 23, 28, 29, and 30.

New projectors and polycoms in Franklin and Kaiser conference rooms

IR&C has installed permanent high-quality projectors and polycoms in ten Franklin building conference rooms and two Kaiser building conference rooms. The projectors operate by remote control and do not require focusing.

OPRS Environmental & Emergency Services recommends pre-programming local seven-digit emergency phone numbers in your cell phone rather than dialing 911.

UCSF Medical Group Changes Reminder

For employees and/or their dependents enrolled in Health Net or Anthem Blue Cross Plus, and affected by the UCSF Medical group change in affiliation to Hill Physicians, there is still time to change your primary care provider and/or your medical group. Changes must be made prior to 12/15/09 to be effective 1/1/10.


UC Awards Honorary Degrees

During World War II, 700 Japanese American UC students were interned and forced from school. Many never returned to complete their degrees. UC is now welcoming them back to receive honorary degrees.
