University of California President Michael V. Drake, M.D., has selected Meredith Vivian Turner to be the senior vice president of External Relations and Communications at UCOP.

Meredith was selected after a competitive national recruitment process and will assume the role on an interim basis for one year or until the appointment of a permanent senior vice president.

While quarantining at home, Meredith has embraced sourdough bread-baking, house dresses and “The Home Edit.”
