Prof. Carolyn de la Peña, author of Empty Pleasures, will talk about artificial sweeteners at 12 p.m. Feb. 9 in Franklin Bldg, Room 5320. Can't come in person? In this introductory class for UCSF, UCOP and UCB employees, learn a simple framework for organizing and managing project work. Through interactive lectures, hands-on exercises and simulations, gain the knowledge to improve your project management skills. This is a day-long course Feb. 15, to be held at UCSF Extension in downtown San Francisco.
