As we announced in May, UCOP Telecommunications Services is working to bring the latest conference room technology to UCOP!

We have recently outfitted the first pilot Zoom rooms in the Franklin and Broadway offices in Oakland. They include:

• Broadway 5070
• Broadway 8073
• Franklin 7109
• Franklin 11203

These enhanced rooms feature a software-based, integrated experience for audio conferencing, wireless screen sharing and video conferencing. They allow users to join and host Zoom meetings without logging into a PC or dialing a phone.

How to use the new Zoom rooms

Each Zoom room features an intuitive and customer-friendly control panel. Refer to the one-page user guide located in each room to get started.

Attend an in-person training

Get an overview of Zoom room functionalities during an in-person training with IT Client Services! Join us in Broadway 5070 from 1:30 – 2 p.m. on July 19, July 26, Aug. 2 and Aug. 9. (Advance registration is not required.)
