2023 Cyber Risk Program annual report spotlights UC Cyber security initiatives
The Cyber-risk Coordination Center (C3) has just published the 2023 Cyber Risk Program Annual Report, spotlighting the initiatives, people, services and tools that manage and reduce cyber risk at every UC campus, health center and lab.
The report highlights stories and successes throughout the UC system that enhanced cybersecurity over the past year. Highlights include:
- UC Berkeley’s efforts to share best practices around policy implementation
- How UCLA Health improved phishing simulations to provide greater learning opportunities, including executive communication during a cyber incident
- Popular privacy workshops at UC San Diego
- A $20-million AI-powered cyber security grant out of UC Santa Barbara
- How UC San Francisco became an early adopter of Attack Surface Management services
