New online courses for today’s work challenges
When you’re used to working in the office with face-to-face colleagues, transitioning to fulltime telecommuting can be challenging — particularly while we’re also experiencing greater stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The UCOP Learning and Development team is here to help with courses specifically chosen to address these unprecedented times. Select each course name to register on the UC Learning Center.

Less stress. Enhanced awareness and focus. Improved health. These are some of the benefits shown in research studies on mindfulness. Resilience: Navigating the Unexpected with Grace
May 14, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Resilience increases our ability to “respond” rather than to simply “react” to unexpected events and setbacks — while also mitigating the impact these events can have on our mind, body and productivity. During this live online workshop led by UC Santa Cruz Learning and Talent Development Manager Adrienne Harrell, you’ll explore what it means to be resilient. Discover why resilience is an important skill and competency to nurture and develop, in yourself and in others.
