President Napolitano addresses 1,600 staff at first-ever virtual Town Hall
On Tuesday, April 28, President Napolitano hosted her first-ever virtual Town Hall meeting. More than 1,600 UCOP staff members attended the live event, which was moderated by Claire Holmes, senior vice president of external relations and communications.
In her opening remarks, the president talked about the state of UCOP and the university, encouraging staff, thanking them for their work and providing an update on UC’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) case, which is pending before the U.S. Supreme Court.
During the Q&A session, she and the other panelists then answered many of the 100+ questions submitted by staff members in advance of the meeting. If you weren’t able to tune in on Tuesday, you can view the archived version of the event online.
