LinkedIn Learning challenge: Empowering women
March 8 is International Women’s Day, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. In some countries, the entire month of March is declared Women’s History Month to highlight the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
LinkedIn Learning’s March Challenge, kicking off March 9, will honor women within and outside the workplace by highlighting classes that explore gender bias and its impact, and teach us how to better support and empower women at work. Each day’s activity can be completed in about five minutes!
How to participate
- Print or save the Women’s History Month challenge calendar (PDF)
- Watch each day’s short learning video (~5 mins or less)
- Initial each day’s box, or make a note of what you watched
- Share your biggest takeaway from the month with the UCOP Learning and Development team by emailing ucopld@ucop.edu by Friday, April 2
Don’t have time to participate every day? That’s OK. The purpose of this challenge is to celebrate Women’s History Month while highlighting new learning opportunities available through your free UCOP LinkedIn Learning membership. For help accessing and using your account, visit our LinkedIn Learning FAQs or contact ucopld@ucop.edu.
