The elves have been at work in preparation for Franklin's 2011 Holiday Faire, Friday, Dec. 9, and the accompanying decoration competition. Festivities take place all day on three floors from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., complete with refreshments and the harmonies of the UCOP Singers.
The annual Holiday Crafts Fair, featuring many items created by UCOP staff, brings jewelry, scarves and other great handcrafted gifts to the Franklin Building Lobby just in time for your holiday shopping.
Join your AED/CPR-certified colleagues by becoming a certified emergency responder. Register for the final training session of 2011, scheduled for Dec. 16 and limited to 10 participants.

The OP Innovation and Impact Awards gives all staff as well as managers the opportunity to recognize their peers and their staff for extraordinary achievement to UC, UCOP or the community. Please submit all nominations by 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5.
The UCOP Crafts Fair, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Franklin lobby, is still seeking artisans to sell at this year's event, held each year to help with your holiday gift shopping.
ANR Vice President Barbara Allen-Diaz will appear as part of PACSW's Women We Admire Speaker Series, featuring the women of UC.
UCOP's Holiday Faire, Dec. 9 at the Franklin Building, will kick off at 8 a.m. with cider and sweets in the lobby, then occupy two additional floors in the afternoon, all accompanied by decorations and the sounds of the UCOP Singers.
