Boost your wellness by getting better sleep

Whether you’re managing a team, managing projects or just trying to make it through your inbox without a third cup of coffee, sleep matters! On Aug. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. (PT), join the UCSF/UCOP Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) for a helpful new workshop, The Sleep Equation: Everyday Strategies for Better Sleep.

Drawing inspiration from “Trauma Stewardship” by Laura van Dernoot Lipsky, this training will help you cultivate awareness and intentionality in navigating secondary trauma. We’ll explore the Five Directions of Maintaining Well-Being (Inquiry, Focus, Compassion and Community, Balance, and Centering) as tools to help you develop a sustainable, grounded and purposeful practice while caring for others.
