The Regents approved a July 2014 increase in UCRP contributions from both UC and employees, part of a broad effort to maintain financially sustainable pension benefits.
The UC Regents had a full agenda at their July 16–18 meeting, where they appointed Janet Napolitano UC's 20th president and took action on several other items.
