Managing stress in the coronavirus era
Stressed about coronavirus? Or everything else? Americans are some of the most stressed-out people in the world.
But according to UCSF’s Dr. Elissa Epel, not all stress is the same. (Hint: It’s all about *how* you react to the things that stress you out.) Elissa studies stress and how the cells in our body react to it. It turns out that stress can play a major role in how quickly (or slowly) we age.
