“In Every Story, There’s Hope”: Join BSFO for a Mental Health Awareness Month event on Wednesday

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and in addition to a display in the Oakland Franklin Building Lobby, the Black Staff and Faculty Organization (BSFO) is celebrating with a special virtual event!
Join BSFO members this Wednesday, May 20, from 12 – 1 p.m. via Zoom as they welcome John Brown, Psy.D., clinical psychologist and threat management team lead with the UCSF/UCOP Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP).
Dr. Brown brings extensive experience supporting individuals through workplace stress and change, offering practical, evidence-based tools to build resilience and well-being. During this session, he will provide guidance on:
- Managing work-related stress
- Building confidence and coping skills
- Accessing confidential FSAP support
