Caitlin is a postdoc. Worked in the Wendell Lim lab also. Question-driven lab. It’s about “understanding enzymes like a motor,” per Caitlin. Studying the misregulation of genes. Caitlin pours frost (liquid nitrogen) to cool down the vacuum column of the microscope. Caitlin is using the microscope to study plant enzymes and get “a visual snapshot of what a protein actually looks like.” Group shot of students trying three different labs, Chari, Elise, Chris.
